Job Description:
As a Senior Engineer APIs you will design, develop, implement, oversee and adapt APIs of the NOW Platform.
You will collaboratively create API specifications and architectures, deployment roadmaps, meeting development milestones with high quality deliverables
You will shape the way we design, build, and deploy our NOW Platform APIs!
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support on the development of several projects
- Delivery of API solutions that streamline, simplify and improve our service
- Design, development and deployment of RESTful services
- Set up milestones that are aligned to API projects
- Analyze, code, test and implement systematic solutions
- General support on application performance and quality levels
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Successfully completed training / studies in the IT environment or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in the aforementioned areas of responsibility
- API documentation / specification tools (e.g. Swagger)
- Development and conception of frontends using Angular (JavaScript) and Backends with Laravel (PHP)
- Strong knowledge of REST / GraphQL / SOAP
- Good understanding of PHP and JavaScript
- Experience with database technologies like MySQL
- High level of initiative, strong teamwork and communication skills as well as a high service mentality
- High quality software architecture / clean code / documentation / tests
- Have excellent English language skills in speaking and writing
